Do you work with LGBTQ+ clients?
Yes, yes, yesssssss. As a queer-owned business, we love serving our own community, which includes vetting all of the vendors we recommend to make sure they’re inclusive, too. Nobody puts our clients in a corner!
How does payment work?
Your proposal will include an invoice for you to review. Half of the total is due on contract signing, and the other half is due 30 days before your wedding. All of this is done online so it’s fast and easy for you!
Do you only work in Austin?
ATX has our hearts, but do we also love to travel to the ‘burbs and beyond? Hell yes! Working at any venue(s) within 50 miles of Austin city center are included in our fees. Locations outside of 50 miles will incur an additional fee per mile, roundtrip. Locations beyond a 1.5 hour drive may also require overnight accommodations for our team.
Will the vendors you recommend offer us a discount?
Sorry, dude — we ask our vendors to give us their best work, not their lowest price (though we’re always conscious of your budget). We’ve found that folks do their best work when they are treated with respect and paid fairly. In service of that same goal, you should know that we don’t accept any kickbacks or incentives from our vendors.
My venue has an in-house event manager. Do I really need a planner/coordinator?
Um, yes, and here’s why: the venue’s event manager works for the venue, not for you. Their job is to prioritize and protect the venue’s property, while our job is to prioritize and protect you, your guests, and your wedding day vision. And damn, we’re good at our job.
